We fabricated three different product compositions from our STAINED GLASS, CUSTOM COLOR, and LIGHT DIFFUSING lines for this stunning laylight in one of the newly renovated atriums in Charleston, South Carolina’s Gaillard Center. This architectural feature is fabricated with metal framing that incorporates over 80 pieces of inset glass in a variety of colors and textures. The repeating symmetrical shapes required tight tolerance and precision cutting of the individual glass pieces, which were laminated for additional strength and durability. Visitors experience the engaging interplay of light and color on the walls from a design that blends beautifully with the vaulted ceiling and modern columns.
